After meeting Queen Melian and learning of her dragon-slaying past, the party left Waterdeep with Alias officially declared captain. During a stop in Baldur’s Gate, Obold began gathering followers for Baphomet while Louis completed their conversion, earning an amulet that stirred Obold’s jealousy. With morale high, the crew set sail once more toward Velen, ready to face whatever awaited them.

On Mintarin, the party uncovered a temple of Baphomet where Holda’s infernal lineage was revealed. Trapped by the demon lord, Obold pledged himself to Baphomet, trading the Book of Iuz for the halberd Z’Daria Nix as each companion received cryptic visions. The group then sailed safely to Waterdeep, where Alias confirmed the Queen’s Bitch still prowled the seas and met Melian, Queen of Niavara.

The party speaks with Melian and ask where she got her cool armor from. She said that she got it from slaying a dragon. She leaves and the party rests for a night.

The next day we go shopping and then set sail. The party (especially Obold) determine that Alias is considered the captain of the ship. (obvious choice, honestly).

We set sail for Velen and stop at Baldurs Gate on the way for supplies. Obold sets out his alms box and gets a couple people to pay alms to Baphomet. Lois follows some of them and takes them to a place of worship to fully convert them. After doing so she receives an amulet in a show of appreciation for her service (Obold is jealous).

The party then sets sail one last time for Velen and nothing is going to stop them now!
