A small frail old lady who keeps dark company. Care for a Werther's original? Lois moves through the world with the unhurried ease of someone who has long since made peace with darkness. She is a child of Baphomet — born to it, not merely converted — and she wears that heritage without shame or fanfare. In combat she hangs back and lets eldritch force do the work, reliable and lethal from range, often one of the only sources of magical damage in a melee-heavy party. Off the battlefield she follows the demon lord's interests with a quiet devotion, completing initiations, opening scrolls from sinister strangers, and receiving divine favor with modest satisfaction.
Personality
Traits:
- Steady and unfazed in dangerous situations — she helped cloaked strangers board the ship in the dead of night, opened a cursed scroll, and was among the first to interact with the Whispering Reliquary without apparent distress.
- Reliable magical support in combat, delivering consistent Eldritch Blasts and Fireballs from a safe distance; she is less reckless than some of her companions but no less destructive.
- Quietly devoted to Baphomet — she followed converts to a place of worship to complete their initiation, received a blessed amulet for her service, and in a moment of crisis her prayers were answered with a manifested obsidian idol.
Ideals:
- Loyalty to Baphomet is its own reward; she serves the demon lord not out of fear but out of genuine kinship as one of his children.
- The darkness is not something to hide — she advocated for flying the Baphomet flag during parley and takes no pains to conceal her affiliations.
